We Love WELL KEPT Used Teddies!
Although the brick and mortar shop is small -- our online store is always open for more, more, more. The main criteria is stated above: we'll buy used teddies that have been well kept. That means clean, neat, without rips or tear in teddy or his/her clothes (if any) AND it also means we expect him/her to have all his/her parts and go withs! Because we're buying for resale, we'd rather your teddies have their original maker/name hang tags and they MUST have their sewn on tag(s) in very good condition.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Direct sale - 10 to 15 cents on the dollar based on the current/future
resale value. Possibly up to 25% on a teddy or set of teddies we don't have or
that should be a quick seller.
- Consignment sale - You deliver the bear(s) and we'll post each on his/her own
page in our catalog with a price to which you agree. If it sells 30% will be
deducted prior to your payment.
- Please note: Purchase offers
or suggested consignment prices are based on current/future resale value - NOT
any listed prior or current 'catalog' values. Most retail values are between 50-75%
of existing 'catalog' prices except in major East-West coast specialty-collectible
establishments with higher-than-average overhead costs.
Prices are also impacted greatly by how frequently a bear appears on eBay and the average price at which it is offered on eBay. You should do a little homework so you know the true selling value of your bear(s). For example, regardless of 'catalog' and on line retailer prices, most Beanie Baby Bears are easily found on eBay at .99 plus shipping/handling. Check eBay's fees and you'll see that, unless the seller includes a $1 handling fee, these bears are being sold for pennies.

HOW TO I GET MY BEARS TO YOU?
You can bring them
by the store (call 765 287-8849 ahead of time, please). Or you can ship them
to us (at your expense) however you wish. Store location is noted on the 'WHERE' page.
WHEN DO I GET MY MONEY?
- Direct sale - upon delivery of the bear(s) for which an accepted offer has been
made -- and our verification that the bear(s) is/are the same bear(s) and in the same
condition as when the offer was made.
- Consignment sale - At the end of each month (with or without a sale), when the bookkeeper gets done. Never later than the 10th of the following month.
CAN I GET MY BEARS BACK?
- Direct sale - yes, if they have not yet been photographed and placed in the
'Everything Teddy Bear' catalog. After that occurs you can purchase any of
your bears back for what we offered plus $5 each for processing costs.
- Consignment sale - Yes, anytime you want. We'll close any catalog
pages within 24 hours and make a final financial settlement with you at the end of
the month (again, no later than the 10th of the following month).
- Please note: Either way, you are responsible to pick up your bears or pay for return shipping.
