It's been nearly six months since the break in and most things are back to a normal state. What's been heartbreaking about the entire episode is that even now we are uncovering impacts from our vandals and their anti-teddy bear adventure.
Recently we went to fill an order from the second of two storage tubs that we thought hadn't been touched -- after all, we'd filled orders from one of these tubs which were found full of untouched, mint like we bought it and stored it Cherished Teddies stock. Bad news!! That second tub was full of the items we'd stored in it -- but every item (resin figurines, once with near mint boxes and papers) was now a total loss. They'd dumped the tub, stomped and jumped and ??? on everything and then neatly scooped it back into the tub.
We (actually the local police department) are still no closer to finding who or why we got messed with.
Thus, the recovery is ongoing. Your orders will be filled if we have found and re-inventoried the item(s) you order. Otherwise we will note your request, refund your payment and notify you later if what you wanted is found in a sellable condition. WE DEEPLY REGRET THIS IS STILL HAVING AN IMPACT ON OUR ABILITY TO SERVICE YOU.
